Swimming in Phuket at the PIASAWC Aquatic Academy, the academy consists of one 50m eight lane outdoor swimming pool (suitable for water polo and competitive swimming), a fully shaded 25m eight lane swimming pool, plus toddler’s and children’s pools and play area. The Aquatic Academy facilities were designed to serve the general public, local schools and community groups, national and international teams, special swimming programmes, water polo squads, and a variety of aquatic events.

Disabled Access is available at PIASAWC Aquatic Academy which has been designed for the elderly, parents with prams and for people with disabilities. The main entry is easily accessible from the car park, and from this point, patrons can access all areas of the Aquatic Academy via ramps, with the exception of the upper grandstand. Disabled changing rooms, shower and toilet are located in the main locker rooms, adjoining the outdoor pools. The outdoor pools can be accessed via stairs and handrails, or patrons may prefer or require assistance into the water with Phuket’s first hydraulic hoist, or water wheel chair.
